creativity: bull hunts his view of reality dynamic intelligence needs something static to aim for
The dictionary description is: the ability to create
and presumes 'consciousness' and 'understanding' (both rational myths)
Bulls fight rules without 'understanding', but with intelligent creativity
Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun." quote Mary Lou Cook
Man is not able of 'creation'/intelligent-design, only of making trials of new ways, and of using memory for best possible evaluation.
'Ploughshare' thinkers consider body-spirit-split as non-sense.
Creativity may have killed a few cats, but evolution certainly eliminated many more incurious ones; Guy Claxton in 'Wise Up'
My definition of 'creativity':
Making individual curiosity useful for your collective, by:
Influencing static knowledge by attacking with discrete variation + selection (dynamic intelligence)
Static knowledge is the 'bible-type of knowledge', mainly 'frozen'. Dynamic intelligence uses variation for change.

Warning: Unlike 'rational' researchers I think that 'understanding' is fantasy (thinking=daydreaming),
that creativity is variance and that Intelligence is related to bodily BEHAVIOR (rituals)

Like: climbing 'mountains' intelligently using 'movability'
Or changing reactions by random shuffling of sense units (playing Joker)

Creativity must be seen as the force Chi do you understand pain, or do you imagine a feeling? The power of volcano eruptions and tsunamis

Raw Creativity

Rational scientists say peculiar things like:
Creativity is meta-knowledge of how to solve a specific class of problems. So there is NO SUCH THING as "raw", undifferentiated creativity

First a 'rational' definition, followed by 'rational' denial (falsificaton). Although even 'rationally' I don't grasp the so there is no...
Do they mean in common sense that problems can't be solved by 'raw puzzling' ('clever' trial and error).
Or do they mean that the 'rational' notion 'meta-knowledge' 'rationally' PER DEFINITION is not 'raw'.
Because of the influence of the view of someone like Leibniz (1646-1714) , emotions are in 'rationalism' supposed to be invalid rational messages, because of being spoiled by 'white noise'. An absolute or static opinion. In the very end leading to War on Terrorism and fascism

In my view creativity is raw 'will power' ('clever' association of knowledge, or 'puzzling'), using WHATEVER logic.
Members of herds of people differ in creativity. Leaders are herdmember too but are selected because of effective talents. Resulting in behavior that leads to 'progress'. A relative standpoint.

No wonder rigid Christians like Immanuel Kant were shocked by raw sex.
Finding mates and accepting leaders are animal-like but very complex processes, rituals soaked with emotions. Raw intelligence.

......

Either die without risk through endless compromising in fear evoking frozen 'beauty', or take DECISIONS in attractive hot risky progress.
Life is risky and beautiful

Static and Dynamic Knowledge

In terms of the famous Popper-Kuhn debate in 1968 the 'leaving' philosopher Popper defended static knowledge and the rising 'young' star Kuhn added dynamic intelligence
Creativity is moving toward 'truth', testing tradition (static knowledge).

Creative behavior is exposing to others the boldness of ones individuality. It shows personal fantasies, but if knowledge and intelligence are sufficient to handle a specific case then a creature can make contact and make others feel what it wants. Human creatures create and communicate myths or sense experiences. Such imaginations must be measured by their result. Contacting change in the mythical shape of a bull is risking death. The result may be 'horrible' or 'beautiful, either outcome counts.
That's why creativity needs an ethics to be bordered. It behaves like a ferocious young bull. It just is programmed to stay alife, and 'means' no harm though it can cause devastating damage. My guess is that ancient cultures sacrificed to keep God(s) satisfied, who symbolized creativity. In monocultures one god represented all of creativity, in case of a multitude of gods these all represented an aspect of creative behavior

Members of different cultures have different kinds of creativity, and might see it as 'holy spirit' or 'natural force' (no harm meant). That causes small or big barricades in communication (see Israel Palestine Conflicts), these can only be removed by efforts from both parties.

Realize that cultural laws (ethical or moral systems) are only safe surroundings for taming creativity.
Ethics is not meant to hurt or kill creativity, nor to keep it fundamentally imprisoned.
When I think of free creativiy, it is of extreme sports like killerwave surfing, cliff diving, rap music and so on. And of Minoan bull jumping.

Bull jumping in ancient Minoan culture. Did they realize that static knowledge only changes by risky confrontations with dynamic change?

Aging and Wisdom

For millions of years dying proved to be an essential part of evolution.
Assuming to be able to prevent dying in this stage of evolution is AWFULLY arrogant, and extremely shortsighted.
Because experience is essential for evolution to create variance, and the present technical methods that promise to prolong life by far are not able yet to replace natural variation.

I don't believe in Gods, but this is 'playing for God'. Brain surgery and ALL sciences are infant sciences, and far from understanding the workings of the brain. Their present model of the brain is painfully incomplete.
Using only the mixed and relative logic of evolution common sense I'll give a completer model of the brain.
