Education = Training of Effective Behavior 'Understanding' and 'knowledge' are not eatable. These concepts are tools. But a tool (say a shovel) in itself does not produce food. Only tools used in effective way assist nature in producing food. Education is training in effective use of tools. 21st Century schools should be like a circus. To be able to make people laugh, cry, applaude, ... takes a lot of training. Circus artists in any act have trained daily. IQ is nothing (only a number). Lots of people with high IQ can not cook their own meals, or mow the lawn. A student with only high IQ is a nerd, no difference with a machine (computer). Such a student might be of use as personal computer of an effective student. A 'pretty' student might be of use as a doll for an effective student.
