Road to freedom: Meaning of Terrorism / Freedom Fighter definition / Terrorism Definition
definition terrorism, definicion terrorismo, terrorisme definition, definicao terrorismo, terorizm netlik, government terrorism, luchado por la libertad, resistance, guerilla, verzet, widerstand. FREEDOM in the 21st century means jumping WORLDWIDE into the 21st century paradigm
Terrorism Quote: I went to the airport to check in and Security officers asked what I did because I'm tanned and have pitchblack hair and brown eyes. I said that I was a comedian. They said, "Say something funny then." I told them: "my name is Jesus, I just graduated from the flying school of Los Angeles. - Ahmed Ahmed

disbalance bloodthirsty terrorist or brave warrior ? A HUGE disbalance in human happines causes 'terrorism'. Thus 'terrorism' is cultural relativist, it is freedom-fighting. Also it is time dependent. That means in the dominant 'western' paradigm you can be seen 'rationally as a bloodthirsty terrorist, and in a dominated common sense paradigm a brave warrior fighting for freedom (see Israel-Palestine Conflict).
And that The War on Terrorism (based on 'rationality') is mainly defending 'Power' ('rational' notion) with ALL means, and suppressing desperate common sense fighting for freedom

Because good and evil are relativist notions, a paradigm shift might change feelings about you from 'rational' 'terrorist' into common sense 'freedom fighter' (Nelson Mandela). Although many top politicians in very 'rational' US and England in secret still consider Mandela as terrorist, only way too popular to admit so.
In both paradigms choirs sing about peace, while the next day their soldiers/freedom-fighters might be fighting each other on life and death.

Terror as a weapon has been use since ancient times, sometimes by despotic tyrants, more often by governments. The early tyrants in Europe were benevolent rulers. The word 'tyrant' had nothing to do with terror.
By the 5th century BC despotic tyrants (like Alexander the Terrible) emerged who ruled by fear, and in the Greek city states that arose at that time rule with 'superior force' by 'superior humans' was encouraged, sometimes disguised as extreme democracy.

road to freedom The best example at present is Osama bin Laden, being considered a global terrorist in the 'rational' countries, and being seen as a freedom fighter by 90% of Muslims. Confusing is that to stay alife Bin Laden has to use help of The Taliban and Sudanese Muslims in the Mohammedan Paradigm. The Taliban and Sudannese leaders as fundamental Mohammedans BELIEVE that Mohammedanism is 'The True Islam' (like fundamental Protestants BELIEVE 'The True Christianity' is Protestantism).

Characteristic for those who apply terror as ultimate way towards freedom is an extremely strong common sense based 'intuition'.

Rationality and Terrorism
Terrorism = Anti-Rationality

CIA definition of terrorism:
"Politically motivated violence against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents. Intended to influence audiences".
Zarah II: Mind that US government decides that Bin Laden is political,is violent, that his victims are US targets, that he is clandestine and that he influences pro US audiences.
The European Union 2004 definition
Destabilising or destroying the fundamental political, constitutional, economic or social structures.
Zarah II: Thou shalt not attack Power?
In 'rational' view persons who fight THE 'rational' rules are 'terrorists'
Even in Western topsport that is obvious; a player who continuously obstructs the game in irritating way and simulates pain meets no limiting rules, but the player who pushed him away out of irritation (emotion) gets a red card.
Western invasions are tolerated, but deperate defense is fought as 'terrorism'

According to their own definition you might consider the CIA as a Terrorist Organization.
An agent using politically motivated violence in clandestine methods to influence audiences

terrorist: when using Roman definition of terrorism

Common Sense characteristics:
- charismatic (or terrorist sexy)
- 'stubborn' (in terrorist way sticking to common sense)
- a master Warlord, or social Leader (as true terrorist hating compromise)

Anti-Rationality:
Violence out of total frustration opposing 'rational rules = 'law and order'.
Because the cause is frustration, the targets seem random. Intended to send a message.

The modern world faces 'terrorists'; the ancient world faced 'barbarians'. 'Barbarism' was a response to the contrast between Roman wealth and barbarian poverty.
Al Qaeda is a response to the Western World wealth and extreme povery elsewhere; At least some of the 'barbarians' (Huns, Goths) realized that most those riches of Rome and Constantinople had been stolen in Roman invasions and Roman tribute.
Something similar motivates today's radical islamists.

One Dimensional World

The saying "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" is NOT a cliche. Denying this statement is the same as denying relativism. The emotional 'terrorism debate' is hiding the essential 'absolutism-relativism debate', touching the 'cornerstones' of view on life.

Before founding a 'National Counterterrorism Center', or 'Prevention of Terrorism Ordinance' better realize that violence (however brutal) allways has is caused by forces seeking a new balance.
Focusing on the brutality of violence with severe punishments is like building higher dams to fight global warming.
Or fighting volcano outbursts with warning systems. Or like the UK denying Iran nuclear production, and via their queen giving Salmon Rushdie a Medal of Honor (UK-leaders would react furiously if Aljazeera International Television awarded Osama Bin Laden with the medal for Sharpshooter of the Year) .

It helps to remember that all presently dominant world views started from common sense. The Roman Paradigm gave common sense a knockout in its Western World. And the Romans also tolerated that Mekka Islam was destroyed by agressive Mohammedanism (Muslim variant of Catholicism).
Out of the Roman Catholic Paradigm developed Industrialism, Capitalism and Communism. Only Asian Buddism survived as close to common sense view of life.
Of course human behavior in the tiny toplayer of The Western World is also triggered by emotion as raised by sense experience.
Consciousness and Understanding are just very tough western world rational myths, claiming that 'appearance' is superior to 'reality'.
'Rational' logic ignores emotional life and 'rational worlds are very shallow worlds of ideas like 'spirituality', democracy, individual freedom of speech, ... . Straight lines between Good and Evil.

'Good' triggers mood the rational world is Perfect. 'Evil' evokes mood Kill (War on Terrorism).
Events outside a One Dimensional World (=line so in math 2-dimensional) trigger behavior Compromising (to get these events 'rationally' scaled between 'good' and 'evil').

Not showing corpses or mutulated people on tv is typically 'rational' compromising. Pretending that the One Dimensional Western World is 'Good'. Western Society became specialized in genocide (under the cover 'law and order) together with denying of death
.

prejudice; a PREjudge
Now recent history:since Martin Luther started 'Lutheranism' there have been 3 Western World empires based on fundamental Protestantism, acting as 'His Master's Voice':
1) The British Empire (The Masters: Protestantism is good); 2) The Nazi Reich (The Arians: white blondes are good); 3) The US Empire (The Whites: 'understanding' is good = White Fascism).
Who are dominantly present in Afghanistan and Iraq? Indeed: UK and US. Wonder about the next step ...
Quote US president B. Junior: Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. (Zarah II: that is a warning to resisting people: obey [like good people]... or die[like evil animals. A country like India is warned that continuing their 'slavery disguised' caste system is a must to keep a position as provider of slaves]. Interesting view of terrorism)

Maori proverb: He puia taro nui, he ngata taniwha rau, e kore e ngaro
(you can't destroy all taro roots and hundreds of young dragons. That is: 'war on terrorism' is always lost).
