Timeline Buddhism

Looking on the web at timelines of Buddhism I saw not surprisingly that all seemed to be copied from the same source, adding specific dates. What I did was copying too and skipping for outsiders uninteresting information.
All the dates I changed in multiples of 5 years.

560 – 480 BCE

Probable life of Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha).

520 BCE

Siddhartha Gautama began his wanderings in the countryside in search of truth.

530 BCE

Siddhartha Gautama, meditating under a Bodhi tree at Buddha Gaya in northwestern India, achieved enlightenment.

530 BCE

Four Noble Truths were revealed by Siddhartha Buddha in his first sermon after his enlightenment, becoming the fundamental Buddhist teaching:
  1. existence is suffering,
  2. the cause of suffering is within the self,
  3. an end to suffering is possible,
  4. following the Eightfold Path ends suffering and leads to Nirvana.

480 BCE

First Council: Buddha's teachings (Sutta) and a text on monastic discipline (Vinaya) were written down.

470 BCE

Approximately 16 factions existed only ten years after Buddha's death.

400 BCE

Buddhism reached Nepal.

260 – 230 BCE

King Asoka converted to Buddhism; Buddhism from small group to state religion and local religion to world religion as Asoka sends out Buddhist missionaries

200 BCE

Buddhism reaches central Asia

100 CE

Circa 500 sects of Buddhists

480 CE

Bodhidharma goes as a Buddhist missionary to China

600 CE

Buddhism enters Japan

1100-1199 CE

India encounter’s Islam

1200-1299 CE

Decline of Buddhism in northern India

1400- 1400 CE

Decline of Buddhism in southern India

1920 CE

Soviet Communist attack on Buddhism in Mongolia

1950 CE
